Discover what makes it unique

Designed to house an advanced technology document reproduction center (copy center), this building stands on a 406 square-meter lot (406 m2). The required program included a reception area, customer service area, workspace, administration offices, storage rooms, restrooms, a dining area, and parking.

The concept seeks to convey the idea of planes coming to life: two parallel slabs break free from their frames and ripple like sheets of paper passing through a copier. The main, compact volume is defined by two walls that create a double-height space, with a mezzanine level in the public area and a detached wall that encloses the service areas. Natural light filters in, while artificial lighting accentuates the workspaces.
