PROJECT OVERVIEW
Discover what makes it unique
On a 14.2-hectare site west of Mérida, a complex of buildings and green areas has been created, with roads, parking lots, and bike paths radiating outwards, giving priority to interior pedestrian walkways among trees and aromatic flowers. Their foliage allows visitors to discover stone structures covered by metal umbrellas that seem to blend their reflective surfaces with the blue of the sky.
Minimal materials were used in their natural appearance, highlighting the color of the region's resources. The main element was the hollow concrete block, which offered alternative arrangements: sometimes latticework, sometimes windows, and sometimes blind walls.
