Senado de la República Ciudad de México Concurso

Discover an innovative architectural project in Mexico City that blends tradition with modernity in a sustainable, garden terrace design.
Discover what makes it uniqueIn the best corner of the country, an urban park, a domesticated nature, plays host to an action with special significance for Mexico's political life: a lattice, a glass sculpture of transparencies, reflections, and opacities resting on a lava platform and an iron prism. The proposal arises from the conciliation of the geometries of Reforma and Insurgentes Avenues, on a site invaded by neighboring foliage that transforms it into a garden terrace. It is efficient, with functional proportions; stable, thanks to its structure; economical, thanks to passive and active lighting and ventilation systems; aesthetic, by reconciling tradition and avant-garde; and expressive, by communicating plurality, balance, and harmony with nature. |
