Revitalización de Paseo Montejo Mérida Concurso

Discover what makes it unique

Mérida's growth over the last 50 years, combined with globalization and changes to the ejido land tenure system, generated its disproportionate expansion, leaving significant intra-urban voids. In Paseo de Montejo, the loss of habitability, excessive regulations, and the size of the properties limit their utilization and jeopardize the conservation of the heritage.

In response to a public request for proposals, we suggested revitalizing the area through a Comprehensive Urban Plan. that encourages would foster accessible housing, enhance public space, and promote an open-air 20th-Century Museum. Authorities and the community must concur to reactivate the area, stimulating investment and leveraging existing buildings.
