CRII CROPAFY Centro de Rehabilitación

CRII CROPAFY Centro de Rehabilitación
Discover the CRII in Mérida: a unique, accessible rehabilitation center offering sensory experiences to reconnect individuals with public spaces.

Discover what makes it unique

The architectural concept of the Comprehensive Regional Rehabilitation Center (CRII) aims to convey to its visitors the feeling of standing before a door that opens and invites them to discover the public space behind it: the street, the plaza; places traditionally off-limits to those of us with a temporary or permanent disability.

The entrance sequence is nuanced by various experiences: the sound of water falling from a fountain, the feel of the spray, the scent of the flowers in the gardens, the chiaroscuro of the pergola; aimed at those who, out of necessity, develop certain senses more, compensating for the one or those that have been affected.
