Discover what makes it unique
Depas K’inam is an apartment complex located on a 2,000 m² rhomboid lot north of Mérida. It offers rental apartments targeted at a young demographic seeking unique, practical spaces. The design intentionally balances social interaction and privacy, featuring volumes that create shifting shadows and blend with the movement of the trees. Materials are left exposed, complemented by eaves and shade netting (mallasombra) to maximize natural ventilation. Austere yet colorful interiors provide a simple, cheerful atmosphere. The complex is completed by a communal rooftop terrace and an educational garden, fostering a relaxed dialogue between the urban and natural environments.
