Albergue Infantil

Albergue Infantil
Temporary shelter in Mérida offers a home, education, and adoption opportunities for children in need, ensuring their comprehensive development.

Discover what makes it unique

A 2.19 hectare plot of land west of Mérida was designated for a shelter for children in need or children in need, with a capacity to serve up to 300 children and young people between the ages of 0 and 18. The temporary residents may come from broken homes, orphanhood, or other adverse circumstances; those who cannot be reintegrated into their families are offered for adoption, securing their development in dignified conditions.

The project was conceived as a large sheltered courtyard where children could develop freely, continuing their activities such as attending school, doing homework, practicing sports, gardening, and also strengthening their spiritual life.
